Herdspeople who are contracted to Sixty Seven Cow enjoy the financial advantages of being self-employed as well as the security and support of a family run business.
Our aim is to select and appoint the right herdsperson, whilst also taking into consideration their families needs.
In
each case we draw up a contract that details the responsibilities and
duties to be undertaken by yourself for the farmer. You as the
self-employed herdspersons are sub-contracted by Sixty Seven Cow to carry out the set contract duties.
Don't worry if you are at present employed direct, we can guide you
as to how to become self-employed. All contracts are on a rolling
annual basis with terms and remuneration reviewed annually.
All
contracts provide suitable rent and council tax-free accommodation for
the duration of the contract. This is either rent free or on a short
hold tenancy - but in the majority of contracts - council tax free.
